Bio-Char is a charcoal-like substance that absorbs/adsorbs nutrients and houses microbes. Bio-Char can be added to compost "uncharged" where it will pull nutrients for later use, or you can use "charged" Bio-Char which is already loaded with microbes and nutrients.

Bio-Char is very porous, which serves as a perfect habitat for many beneficial microorganisms

RECOMMENDED USAGE

We recommend using between 5-10% Bio-Char to your potting mix.
