How to Guide: Rehydrate Open Top Coco Bag

So you bought some open top coco planter bags and you aren't sure how to rehydrate them?

Heres a quick guide!

Step 1.

Choose the correct size for you application.

A general guide:

1-2 week veg = 1 gal

2-4 week veg = 2 gal

Step 2.

Rehydrate the bag using either a jug or drippers. When using drippers we suggest using ‘shots’ of 5-10% (of total bag capacity) spaced 10mins apart. total volume needed to saturate bag.

1 gal = +/- 3litre

2 gal = +/- 6litre

Step 3.

Once hydrated, use both hands to push on the sides of the bag, we want to aerate the coco to return it to a fluffy consistency

Step 4.

Create a hole in the center of the bag to prepare for the transplant. Place plant into bag and cover the surrounding root zone with coco
