Bacillus Thuringiensis Kurstaki - 25g Pouch
Bacillus thuringiensis kurstaki (Btk) is a subspecies of the Bacillus thuringiensis bacteria. It is widely used as a biological control for lepidopteran pests, such as caterpillars, gypsy moths and cabbage loopers. Btk works by producing proteins that are only toxic to this group of insects once they ingest it. It is considered safe for non-target organisms, including birds and beneficial insects, as it primarily affects specific caterpillar species.

- Breaks down naturally in sunlight and soil, leaving no harmful residues.
- Compatible with organic production systems and often used as part of integrated pest management (IPM).
