Shanghai Bok Choy produces crisp, succulent green stems with deep jade-green leaves on compact plants reaching around 20cm in height. Mild and delicate in flavour, it is ideal for steaming, stir-fries, and Asian-style dishes, with baby leaves also delicious when used fresh in salads.
Fast growing and heat tolerant, this variety is well suited to home gardens, raised beds, and containers.

Directions for Use:
For sowing: Sow seeds directly where they are to grow or into seed trays filled with fine seed-raising mix. Cover lightly, firm gently, and keep moist until germination occurs. Thin seedlings or transplant when they reach approximately 5–6cm in height.
For growing on: Grow in a sunny, well-drained position. Water regularly and harvest when young and tender for the best flavour. Avoid stress from heat or drought to reduce bolting. Protect young plants from snails and slugs.
